I like Allen a lot, he's my choice so far. With Condi for VP, how's that sound?
I also like the Allen-Condi ticket. I also would like a Allen-Dole (Libby) but just because I like her. She would bring the female vote out, she's an experienced DCer, but she is also representing another Southern state, so that might not help. I also like it they both stuck with the party that brung 'em, not like any of those 7 turncoats.

Sounds very good against what may be a Rodham/Obama ticket for the Dems. I do want to hear more strong talk and specific proposals from Allen (or any Republican candidate) on the borders. Her Heinous' all too obvious moves on this issue worry me and somebody has to counter them.
Condi has never run for anything and I don't think she has the desire/fire/ego to be a candidate. She is more of the intellectual mold. Saw downthread someone favoring Elizabeth Dole, but that might be too southern a ticket with Virginia and NC (only Democrats can run two southerners from adjoining states). I could go for Coleman with Allen. That would be MY dream ticket. It's not as if the Republicans are lacking for young, charasmatic, electable candidates.

I am all over an Allen-Rice ticket! What a dream team!!George Allen has been terrific on both the Bolton and filibuster issues and hasn't been afraid to call the Dims on the carpet for their outrageous behavior.
