NEW YORK President Bush's job approval rating dropped to near its lowest point, in the new CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday.
Forty-six percent of 1,006 adults polled over the weekend said they approved of the overall job Bush is doing. The 46% percent figure is down about 4% points since a poll taken at the beginning of May.

I'm not surprised...
Plus, I'm sure the admins around here know more than we do about certain posters...they can tell where they came from even though they use different screen names.

I'm sure they do.
I thought he was pretty transparent, however.
Since you seem to have more experience than I do, can you tell me when exactly my "newbie" status will change?
Did you read the disclaimer on my FR site?

I'm sure Bush's numbers are that low--in Greenwich Village and the other various red light districts in American cities.

I'm not one who usually "calls out" newbies...unless they're "calling out" someone else.
I don't really care how long you've been here. I hope you stay a long time.

just because someone posts "bad news" about Bush, doesn't automatically make them a troll. I was going by his subsequent reply.

Well I take issue with you because I never said anything about the guy being a newbie. I was merely pointing out that he was a troll. Seems that I've been proven correct.
(and yes, I'm sensitive about being called a newbie) :)

Good analysis. Rasmussen came up with exactly the same result (52%) yesterday.
At any rate, it is good to see a President governing based on principle and not poll numbers for a change.

Of course Bush's approval ratings are at an all time low. Any time a President has bold ideas and takes bold steps, people are going to get their feathers ruffled. Most Americans prefer a president and congress that don't do anything so they never have to hear about them. (And of course, there are those out there who are being devoured by hatred of all things the least bit conservative.)
