I do not understand. Why do you turn your back against me, partner? We must unite.

OK I'll help here with a crash course in Poll Analysis 101.

Forty-six percent of 1,006 adults polled over the weekend said they approved of the overall job Bush is doing.

This is a poll of adults, not registered voters (add +2% GOP) or likely voters (and another 2% GOP) plus this is a weekend poll. Weekend polls skew about 2% towards the Dems so again add 2% GOP.

If the election were held today: Bush wins with 52% (46+2+2+2). Hence, nothing has changed since November.

This Gallup poll's already been debunked as another Liberal fib.

Gallup Poll

A new Gallup Poll reports that President Bush’s approval rating has fallen to 46%. The internals of the poll are quite favorable to Democrats, so it looks like we are doomed next year.

Well, not quite.

“In the survey sample, 36% called themselves Democrats, 29% Republicans. Including those who “lean” toward a party, 51% were Democrats, 40% Republicans.”

Screw the poll that just happens to come out just as the Senate is dealing with the FILIBUSTER and they want Bush to appear weak and hurt in the public's eyes.

Just like the ageless tides, polls go up, they go down, they go up, they go down, they go up, they go down. They're down today. They'll go up tomorrow.

As for being "near an all time low" a 46 percent approval rating is pretty decent. No recent president, Republican or Democrat, would complain.

Maybe, maybe not....just because someone posts "bad news" about Bush, doesn't automatically make them a troll.

Well, to be frank, the GOP leadership (Frist and Bush) WERE weak on the filibuster issue.

They allowed 6 or 7 Senators control 48-49 others.

THAT is a lack of leadership.

Me too....I want the borders closed, govt spending on "welfare" to decrease and for the U.S. to wage a proper war on terrorism...and he doesn't seem to be interested in doing any of these.
