Forty-six percent of 1,006 adults polled over the weekend said they approved of the overall job Bush is doing.
This is a poll of adults, not registered voters (add +2% GOP) or likely voters (and another 2% GOP) plus this is a weekend poll. Weekend polls skew about 2% towards the Dems so again add 2% GOP.
If the election were held today: Bush wins with 52% (46+2+2+2). Hence, nothing has changed since November.
Good analysis. Rasmussen came up with exactly the same result (52%) yesterday.
At any rate, it is good to see a President governing based on principle and not poll numbers for a change.
