Can't blame it on McCain. He's just one Senator.

Is he still in the Republicans caucus? Hasn't been expelled from the party yet?

No?

Then I blame the Republican party.

"Can't blame it on McCain. He's just one Senator"

BS. He has the visibility to give cover to the other followers. He is not singularly to blame, but he is more than equally to blame.

You wanna make a bet

McCain can kiss any chance of ever being the Republican Candidate in 08

As for the rest of the gang of 7 .. a few of them may find re-election difficult

He did have to have some help didn't he. It's not the whole party, but voters will have to stand against this if they expected their Republicans to vote Republican interests.

Doesn't the senate majority leader get to make appointments to commitee posts? If so we'll see if Frist has the balls to punish these renagades.

They have shown utter disrespect for him as the leader - they have gone behind his back and done their own deal (unlike the dems who were doing it under Reid's control).

He should take this as a personal slap in the face and return the favor, if he's a man.

All it takes for evil to triumph is for Republicans to befriend, act like, and give in to, Democrats.

If Republican'ts will not stand up to the domestic Democrat, why should we expect them to stand up to the foreign terrorist?
