Good point. One of the problems is that this whole thing dragged on way too long. It gave the RINOs time to build up their venom.

I think you're absolutely correct. Now I'd like to see someone in leadership disavow themselves from this "deal," saying that it doesn't represent the sentiments of the vast majority of the Republican caucus.
