it was a good demonstration of how some people whiff even in slow-pitch softball, and what a pitiful player he is. He was going to "tweak" Social Security into solvency, until asked whether that meant raising retirement age, lowering benefits or raising taxes, then it was deer in the headlights. Same as 3/31 quote of Dean himself in Phila. Inquirer stating that Demos shouldn't be talking about DeLay's ethics, but focusing on Social Security.. "Oh, that was a couple of months ago...blah, blah,blah.." I'm sure he embarassed any Democrat who didn't already know what a dope he is, and Russert didn't have to bully him.
