Well, you don't want to read links and I do not want to post screeds, so how about you pick up a text book (whoops you don't trust them as well I see) and read all about the CMB and the Lyman Alpha Forest.

Not always. I am not a lap dog. I don't believe everything I read. Maybe you should take a class in critical thinking before you suggest I take a class in basic astronomy.
