Since I'm a relative noob at FR compared to you, I'm curious about a few of the more obscure references to Bozo filtering, furniture-chewing and the such.

There is no actual bozo filter on FR, as there is at some sites. However, the tendency to just skip the posts of someone whom you find painful to read will do the same job. Furniture-chewing is a term more often reserved for actors who give too much of themselves too much of the time. Excess dramatics.
