That would be a problem over the long term. But it would be an effective short term solution, rumors on the Mexican side would spread, and fewer would consider attempting to sneak. into the country. Then NG forces can be removed. Of course, that probably would not work for very long, our anti- American media wold tell them when the coast is clear.
