an unappetising collection of leftists and Islamists As far as I'm concerned, leftists and Islamists have pretty much morphed into the same garbage.

"Fillip" perhaps, but "welcome" is a matter of viewpoint.

Melanie Phillips seems to be an interesting lady. I agree with her position that traditional British culture is valuable and should not be deconstructed from within. I see parallels in the US culture wars.
UK ping.

while Tony Benn called George Bush and Ariel Sharon the "two most dangerous men in the world" and said "if this process continues, there will be possibly some sort of a world war" Oh, there is going to be a war all right. And God is going to kick you collective butts.

I'm curious just how many Brits are truly embarrassed about this?

And, to not forget, of decadence, of the surrender of Magna Carta to the Brussels' Neo-Soviet, of the death of British sovereignty -- and at the leading edge of the movement toward drawing the curtins upon and extinguishing the light on Judeo-Christian/Western Civilization.

The left is showing, once again, how revolting they truly are. Nothing matters to them except for raw power, and they will align themselves with the scum of the Earth to gain that power. From the 1920's until the 1990s, their favorite scum were the Communists, and now their scum of choice is islime. The only good leftist is one that has long since assumed room temperature, and begun the process of decomposition.

I have a friend who lives in Gr. Britain. I've never been to the UK, so I wanted to go and I was going to fly into London. My friend, Harry, said to me, "Why go to London? There are no Brits there." I think that largely sums up the problem in London.
Britain to the north, Wolverhampton, is a fine place, sort of pricy now but the Euro is up and the dollar is down. Our turn in the barrel.

Anything tipping the threat toward the State of Israel will provoke full-scale reaction from Israel, and a general kick-off in the Middle East. This is our only chance of getting a proper war started, rather than these summer maneuvers which tail-off into live-fire training.

What an advertisement for this once great country. Londonistan, capital of hatred, ignorance and prejudice in the free world There are still many good and decent British people. However, they are very much like Americans who care about freedom, and are seeing it slip away due to our leaders love of open borders and millions of illegals.
There have always be crazies in Britain, however with illegal immigration (particularly the Muslims) literally taking over the country, anti Americanism is running rampant, and will eventually be the downfall of the government and freedom, as it will here in America.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the UK stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the USA in our efforts in Iraq.
One of the few European nations to do so.
And, if I recall correctly, UK voters recently returned to power the same government that sided with the US in our efforts.
Despite the efforts of folks like Galloway.
