I've never understood why liberals hate HMOs but love government health care. What exactly do they think the difference in care will be?
Kaiser is an HMO, and is very, very liberal. I know, because my father worked for them until retirement. And the Kaiser Family Foundation is about as socialist as you can get.....
I had Kaiser coverage from birth, but after they screwed up surgery on my foot after a climbing accident when I was in High School, I never returned. It has been private doctors ever since. You get what you pay for....
