DR. DEAN: I said I wasn't sure, but I said I thought there probably were. But the thing that really bothered me the most, which the 9-11 Commission said also wasn't true, is the insinuation that the president continues to make to this day that Osama bin Laden had something to do with supporting terrorists that attacked the United States. That is false. The 9-11 Commission, chaired by a Republican, said it was false.

How did you get it? Where can you download it? That'd be great!
That's very possible. Tourettes, or else hoof and mouth disease has migrated to humans.:)
It could be fun to compile a list of Deanisms. Even as Governor of New Hampshire he was trying to reach out to evangelicals by telling a large group of them that Job was his favorite book of the New Testament, for instance.
I hadn't known you could comment on that blog; those comments were hillarious. Are freepers that funny :-)
Dittos to that. Hope to see Howie on national TV on a regular basis. ;-)
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
Well you are wrong, I just think the GOP is not much better then the rats and that our only real option is to vote third party. Which I intend to do from now on, no more GOP kool-aid for me. The GOP does nothing but talk.
We try to be..
:-)
Dr. Dimento was a cool radio DJ. Dean is a CLOWN.
Dean always good for a belly laugh.
That's the most eloquently statement I've seen explaining the Democrats National Platform I've seen in two years.
I think YOU should send your resume in to fill the shortly expected vacancy in the DNC National Committee Chairman position.
"I'm so glad the Dems allowed a raving lunatic to be their National Chairman."
Good material from tapes, for 2006 mid-term elections.
To be used to associate every democrat with nutballs like screamin deaniac.
I held my nose and watched Dean meet the depressed today and observed a man so consumed by his own defects of character, contradictions and hypocrisies as to cause one to at first to wonder about his sanity.
And to very soon stop wondering!
The man's Iowa self-imolation said all there ever was to say.
Go Dr.Dean DUmmie Go !!! Split ,08 Rat ticket !!! Although what are the Vegas odds he makes it to ,08 .....
<< It's absolutely obvious that he meant Saddam.
Then why did he say it twice? Then why didn't Russert the Potato correct him? >>
Russert picked up on none of Dean's scores of contradictions, assininities, errors, idiocies, outright lies, contradictions and in-your-face hypocrisies.
Russert is a Liberal Psychosis-suffering DNC activist.
<< I think the Freepers on this thread are being far too kind to Howard Dean. >>
Absolutely.
We project our kindness and generosity of spirit in the same way our enemies project their envy, mean spiritedness, hatred and rage.
And its killing US.
You know, you could very well be right. I'm sure that he does talk to a lot of nutjobs who don't believe OBL was behind 9/11.
It was clear enough to me what Gerald Ford was saying:
JIM LEHRER: And military, security policy, etc., and that one, of course, is remembered for the statement that you made, "There is no Soviet domination of Eastern Europe, an there never will be under a Ford administration." Why did you say that?
PRESIDENT GERALD FORD: ... There's no question I did not adequately explain what I was thinking. I felt very strongly, and I, of course, do so today, that regardless of the number of Soviet armored divisions in Poland, the Russians would never dominate the Polish spirit. That's what I should have said. I simply left out the fact that at that time in 1976, the Russians had about 10 to 15 divisions in Poland. Well, of course the presence of those divisions indicates a domination physically of the Poles, but despite that military occupation of Poland by the Soviets, it never in any way ever destroyed the strong, nationalistic spirit of the Polish people. And I felt, and of course, I'm pleased now the Poles are going to throw the Russians out And the quicker they do it, the better. And I'm proud of what they're doing, and, of course, I get a little satisfaction that maybe I was right in 1976.
