The good thing about Condi being drafted is that is would steal all of Hillary's thunder!

My sentiments exactly. Allen/Rice in '08. With Rice on the ticket we'd peel away enough minority votes in Philly, Detroit and Wisconsin to turn those states from blue to red.

Is she still associated with the radically left, anti-Israel and pro-partial birth abortion Presbyterian Church of USA? It appears that she was as of November 16, 2004. That won't sit well with many social conservatives.

Warner/Rice or Brownback/Rice would be just as good, and she would obviously have to detail her position on life well before the convention.

I like that one too. The boot pic was in last week's Parade magazine, IIRC. It's stunner! Always makes me start singing "these boot are made for walking... one of these these boots are gunna walk all over you... start walking..lol.

"Not only that but I feel strongly that you can't have run a candidate for president that has never been in an election campaign. Way too many landmines out there. It's not anti-black or anti-woman to say Condi needs to get some campaign experience before running for the biggest job in the world. "

An Allen/Rice ticket would be a good thing. Especially if Rove is running the campaign. What worries me about Condi is the Democrats leaking something false like she is a lesbian. The media circus would be ridiculous and they would spend the next 6 months calling Republicans hypocrites. This will happen and Rice would need to know how to deal with it.

I think this will force Hills to announce earlier, just to get the media spotlight back on herself, with Condi always just lurking in the background!

When I think (party aside) who would serve our country the best as President after President Bush, two people come to mind: Mr. Cheney and Dr. Rice. I do not believe that Mr. Cheney has an intention to run; hence, I'm already sporting a "Condoleezza Rice President 2008" bumper sticker.

It is not our prerogative to "draft" anyone. If Dr. Rice does not wish to seek the position of POTUS, then her wishes need to be respected (and I'll remove the bumper sticker). HOWEVER, if she decides to run, I'M ALREADY THERE!!!

Warner's too old and has never been a governor. Brownback's never been a governor either. Governors win, senators lose.

Allen/Rice in '08!!!!!!!!

I think Gov.(?) Rudi is still the strongest we've got out there right now, but can we win the nomination given his position on abortion...
