"I think the death penalty should apply to sex crimes against children under 18."

So do I, because these crimes kill something vital in little souls..No one knows the depth of trauma a little child feels while being raped or molested. Some are never able to go on to develop normally..

"IMO, there has to be some mercy shown to the monsters who do not murder."

Why? When left alive our system will release them so they can hurt again. Monsters are monsters and eventually many will murder. I read recently that most sexual molesters of children have molested an average of 80 times before being caught. That is a lot of damage to leave behind in children. FOX NEWS reported this week that a national registry of sex offenders is being put together so that we can go to one site on the internet to get that information. This is a great thing..However, many offenders are not on that list and it is very frightening to think that someone can break into a home and take children while parents are sleeping.

At least he didn't kill them!

Yeah, he's a real prince for that.

Has he been killed in the joint(prison)yet? What are they waiting for, a conviction?

IMO, there has to be some mercy shown to the monsters who do not murder. Call it an incentive to other monsters and a half-assed reward for not murdering.

Yeah! lets call it keep'em a live spare your life! Sort of like use a gun go to jail.

I have a better idea, it's called "harm a child, meet your maker!"

If we as a paople are going to get serious about crimes against children, lets bump up the penalty for the crimes. Rape of a child(or an adult)should have nothing less than death as the penalty.

Thank God!

Very thoughtful of God to only permit the beast to rape but not murder.

A Port Charlotte man was arrested Friday and charged with kidnapping two young girls from their homes as their parents slept,...

Is there no place where our children are safe?

They won't receive the death penalty unless they murder.
Like I said before, LOCK them up for life WITHOUT parole on their first conviction. Pedophlia cannot be cured, which mean the penalty needs to be ONE conviction and LWOP.

Side bar: I hope the news show you watched also mentioned the ratio of offenses committed by male relatives and male friends of the family. Never think, that you must only protect little ones from strangers.

I say lock 'em up for life without parole on their first conviction, because pedophilia cannot be cured, so the pedophiles must be confined to prison for life.

Therapy to this guy is simple. A pair of pliars, a propoane torch and 4ft of piano wire. I will need about 8 hours. Maybe 16 if he pisses me off even more.

A convicted felon and was out on probation, then out on bond for a violation of probation. What the heck are the judges smoking down there?!

All the more reason to have a dog.....one who barks when strangers approach. Dog food is pretty cheap when you consider the benefits!

What is in the water in Florida?? It seems as though FL has an unusually high number of brazen sexual predators.

This was published 12MAY05: Click here.

He was in custody less than week before raping a 13-year-old.

Lol, I have several little yapping Chihuahuas that bark at the slightest provocation.

That being said, forget about the dog, beware of owner !
