These controversial words were written by former minister for equality in a coloumn in the feminist magazine WomenPressure (Kvinnotryck). "I suppose it can be provoking, particular if you are a man", she states.
Margareta Winberg: I am no man hater
The government has a close cooperation with extreme feminists who consider that "men are animals"
This is revealed in Swedish Televisions documentary, "Sex War".
The documentary which is being aired this Sunday shows a strong connection between the governments sex equality policies and the national feminist organisation, Roks.
In Roks' magazine WomenPressure, the former equality minister Margareta Winberg writes in a coloumn:
- Sometimes I am baffled that not more women really hate men.
What do you mean by that?
- When you look around the world to see how women are treated, you can start wondering why women still have patience with men, says Margareta Winberg.
Militant feminism
How do you think such a statement will be received?
- Yes, it can be provoking, particularly for men. I pursue this thought in my coloumn. But, I do not belong in the groups who are manhaters. I just want to emphasize that.
Who would you say belong to that group?
- You should not ask me that. I do not belong to such a group, and I know noone who hates men.
Roks, however, is an organisation that praises militant feminism according to the documentary. Through proffessional lobbying activities in parliament they with the help of Margareta Winberg managed to transform the extreme feminisms' ideas into reality.
- That fraction within Roks who are radical, and which by some are considered to be extreme, is not part of government policy, says Margareta Winberg.
Roks last year, received 11.7 million kroner in government support, and organises two/thirds of the womens organisations in Sweden.
"Men are animals"
In 2006 the womens organisations are going to share 100 million kroner according to an agreement between the social democrat government, the Green party and the left party.
In Roks magazine, the extreme feminists Valeria Solana is hailed in a recent review.
She writes in her manifesto: "To call a man an animal is to flatter him: He is a machine, a walking dildo, a biological mishap."
In the documentary, the chairman (chairwoman, I guess I should say before I get sued: translator note) Irene von Wachenfelt is asked whether she agrees with Solana.
- Yes, men are animals. Don't you agree? says Ireen von Wachenfeldt to the reporter.
When Aftonbladet asks von Wachenfeldt what she means by that, she answers:
- I personally don't considers men animals, but according to Solana I can understand why many women feel that way

Any feminist who wants to post a list of COMPARABLE women is welcomed to try but I could write a much longer list.
And please don't bore me with a list of men like Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot etc. That's not relevant
Freud was on the money.....
I was wondering the same thing. Today's feminist is more concerned with shaking her finger at women who choose to stay home and have babies or throwing hissy fits over some sexual comment in the workplace than standing up for the women of the world who truly are oppressed at the hands of the sick creed known as fundamentalist Islam. If American women have it so bad, why don't they just ship off to Saudi Arabia?
I'm very deeply affronted to have my humanity denied by feminazis. I'm not. I expect it from them they're nuts. What deeply affronts me is the silence of womankind while this goes on in their name. I'm old enough that I couldn't care less what a bunch of dried-up old lesbians think of men. But I have to wonder what the effect is on little kids, and boys in particular, of seeing this stuff presented affirmatively in the media. It must look to them like something that adult society approves of, because otherwise why is it all over the television, in the movies, on the radio, and everywhere else? Men who complain about this are roasted even on conservative news forums. It will only be when women Get Loud about saying "not in our name" that it will stop. |
Strange that more militant feminists are not married.....
And speaking of mecca, how can these feminist dingbats in the West say with a straight face that men are animals, yet not say a word about the treatment of women at the hands of men under the rules of the religion of peace?
Easy--because they know they can get away with it. In the Muslim world, they'd get 100 lashes instead of favorable press coverage. Throw in a hatred of Western Civilization and a perception that only white men can be racist or feminist oppressors and you have the answer to the rest of the puzzle. If Sweden (and the rest of Europe) eventually become Islamic states, you'll never hear a peep out of these feminists again.
Ping to the Swedish Ping List.
I dont know They might revere men like Stalin...
She left one out: "Who invented, created and built everything I have ever seen and everything I will ever see...."
Stupid t$#% doesn't even understand that we built a comfy world for her to criticize us in.
It is relevant--without a Hitler or Pol Pot, there is no Dante or Mozart....
There are as few female composers or inventors as female serial killers. There is a connection there.
How 'bout bill clinton? is that relevant? who gets to says what's relevant, anyhow?
You can start with the men in your own government, who are allowing a classic culture of mistreating women to immigrate from the Middle East, establish itself in Sweden, and virtually exempt itself from Swedish law.
These girls vs. boys threads never come to any good.
Where I live, the local chapters (who provide safe-houses for abused women and children) of the organisation the documentary was about are now considering splitting off. Seeing how nutty the feminist elite is has probably been a real eye-opener.

Can we please use the correct labels here?
They aren't feminists.
They are obviously lesbians.
Your post brought real clarity to my mind. That essay was a long read, but explained much. Very much.
I saved it, bookmarked it, to reveiw again and again.
Explains why "Bad Guys" get all the women, while "Nice Guys lose out." Explains why whe know women lie a lot, but guys can almost never win. Or if we do win, we pay in spades.
You just brought clarity to a confused guy, and I thank you for your post. The essay makes great sense.
Enough for several new topics.
I do. Thanks for asking. : )
