Major Drug Bust
Toledo Police Chief Mike Navarre says early Thursday morning, Armondo Palma-Loya and Rene Garcia-Torrez from Mexico were arrested along the 7400 block of Airport Hwy., after a drugs-for-money swap was made with undercover officers. The seizure netted 18.5 kilograms of heroin, with an estimated street value between 4-6 million dollars.
Navarre says that was the result of a year-long investigation by local and federal agencies, and it's considered to be the largest ever drug bust in the Toledo area.
John Sommer with the state's National Drug Control Policy Office, says it's also considered to be the largest ever heroin bust in Ohio, and it's important to get a major shipment of drugs off the streets because heroin trafficking is on the rise. Both men are facing 10 years to life in prison.

I'll wait with baited breath for the announcement down the road of which parts of Ohio had no heroin avaliable for anyone to buy for any length of time.

Armondo Palma-Loya and Rene Garcia-Torrez from Mexico...
... they just came here to do the work that Americans don't want to do...

A "major" bust? Excellent! I'm sure heroin will now be completely unavailable there now for months or years to come! The drug problem snuffed out completely!

Your breath can be baited or bated, but just don't hold it. All the barrels smashed during Prohibition didn't prevent the failure of that drug war.

Well then, to carry your alcohol analogy further, you're saying that you support the legalization of heroin, available to those over 21 at the local 7-11?
And what, pray tell, would be the percentage of Americans who would support this insanity?
