DETROIT (AP) A federal judge on Friday ordered the release of a Kurdish immigrant from jail whom the government accuses of terrorism while his lawyers appeal his deportation on terrorism charges.
U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn ruled that Ibrahim Parlak should be freed on $50,000 bond. Parlak, 43, has been in jail since his July 29 arrest and is appealing an immigration judge's December order to deport him to Turkey.

Judge Cohn was appointed as a United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan of Michigan by President Jimmy Carter effective October 9, 1979.
He is reason Number 37,452 why we must begin to get some honest, sane judges on the federal bench.

This is why the "War On Terror" should not be fought in the courts. Liberals and lawyers prettty much own them. That means the rest of us will ultimately get scr!wed and the "war" will be lost.
Unbelievable!! Has he lost his mind? He needs to be removed from the bench. This is why it's so important for Bush to put some Conservative Judges on the bench.
