What's amazing is this story is a week old and people in the medium stream media (not main yet) are just really picking up on it in the last 24-36 hrs. Odd.

Face it...we're not universally loved. No one on top ever is. So we'd better watch our back.

"I think her assessment is correct. However, much of the rest of the world WANTS to believe that we are "extending the middle finger". I think that U.S. citizens should be highly aware that we are NOT liked worldwide."
I think her assessdment is crap. She aligns herself with the Blame America crowd, and instead of defending us as the good nation we are, slings her foul stink at my country.
Why did she not mention that we are wrongly slandered, and then gone on to highlight how we are the most generous nation in the world? It is because to her way of thinking, we ARE the middle finger. There is no way you can stretch that analogy to mean something good.
It was a carefully devised slander.
I have little patience for this crap. And since Pepsi has not made any retraction, they can count me out as a consumer.

I'm all for giving Bolton a pepsi and sending him to the UN; the world might be a better place if they got used to the middle finger.

It is clear that America is not passing Indra Nooyi's "GLOBAL TEST."

I wonder what Nooyi planned to do after she was fired from Pepsi???
maybe they could put the clown at Taco Bell or KFC working the grill?
duhhh...
knowing how corporate America works, they'll probably give her a multi-million dollar buyout from her contract, she'll write a book and be given her own tv talk show! LMAO

She'd better switch to Diet Rite for a while, from the looks of it:

She highlights what weasels have crept into leading positions in U.S. corporations.
Do Dems get this message and no longer tear down business?
She needs to get hold of her marketing gang to keep sales from declining for their pop and snacks.

That's the important quote from the speech, Dave. Unfortunately, most conservatives have been complaining about the middle-finger analogy, which is silly. What she said after that in the quote you posted is the critical part, and the part we should be pounding.

Oh, I don't know. If I were African or Latino, I'd probably be pretty pissed that I had been characterized as less important than the Americans, Europeans and Asians.
The Lations know how to have a good time and the Africans have some catching up to do. But white people and Asians have it all together and run this joint.
Isn't that part of that arrogant attitude that Ms. Pepsi is complaining about?
To: WKUHilltopper
The Coca-Cola Corporation really should take advantage of this... maybe run new versions of their most famous ads just to twist the knife in PepsiCo.
To: itsamelman
Looks of the fat @$$, she needs to be drinking DIET Pepsi.
