Control the law and you control the nation.

Plain and simple. And that is what they are up to.

I second that Geezer. I'm an Ohioan and I did the same. I told Senator Rinovich that if I vote for a Demwit then at least I KNOW I'm getting someone who won't stand up for my interests.

From him it's just a stab in the back and that feels worse when it comes from someone you once supported and thought you could trust.

I'm through voting for Republicans. From now on I will only vote for Conservatives.

if you're a minority member, black population member of this country, you see now.....Your color, your race, your minority status, your little-guy status, your story of self-reliance doesn't impress them. In fact, it threatens them.

The 'rats refuse to give their black members any major role in the Party. They are deathly afraid that the blacks may take over the Party and shut the white limousine liberals out. What would the Swimmer, and Leahy, and Boxer, et al do then?

Teddy for certain would go back to his mansion and get drunk, so in that sense nothing would change.

Liberalism is DEAD because it has proven in the last 65 years that it does not work. PRES. Hover proved that Free unrestrained Capitalism does not work either hence the Great Depression. Liberalism was the reaction to that terrible time. For 40 odd years it reigned supreme then PRES. Reagan came and capitalism made a come back. The last 20 years has seen a bitter war of Ideas fought over; not just in this country, but in the world. Communism the end result of Liberalism has died a painful death and has cost many millions there lives and hope for a better future. Now when We the People are at the doorstep of Victory the Dems are fighting their last stand. IF they lose the judical branch they are left with only the control of the Colleges. They are as we speak losing the Press War Fox vs CNN is a major battle CNN and MSNBC lost. So if you were the DEMS and your whole world view was on its last legs would you not fight with everything you had? What worries me is that the REPS do not act like they are the Majority. They act like they should care what the DEMS think. The DEMS did not vote and will never vote for them. The REPs need to worry what the 51% of people that did vote for them think. On the judges, Social Security, Tax reform the voice of the Majority has spoken. The RINOS need to listen carefully. Primaries are fast approaching.

Democrats... they've been in denial. I don't think that the reality that they have lost all these elections and this power has really set in. I think it's just now starting to. You know, their allies in the mainstream press are able to create this image that those guys still run Washington and still run the country... If they lose this filibuster business and if these nominees get on the court, I think it is going to be one of the most profound delayed reactions in all of civilization, because I think they're just now on the verge and precipice of admitting that they're actually losing, that after all these years, these losses are not a mirage. They're not temporary. They're not just quirks in the political system. They're not because slick Republican marketing and packaging -- and if they go down the tubes in this filibuster fight of theirs, which I think they're going to go down the tubes on, you're going to see... people who have been avoiding reality and in utter denial for this long who finally wake up to it overnight, it's not going to be pretty, and they are going to lash out and become even more extreme wacko and kooky.

If he's thinks it's going to be bad for the dems, wait til he see members of the MSM start to "get it". Katie, bar the door.

"IMHO Rush proved during his program today, yet again, that he is an American treasure."

Indubitably!!!

Rush is to conservatives what John Paul the Great was to Catholics. Both were/are talent on loan from God at extraordinary levels!

I listened to that today and it just proves how dense they're.

These idiots may need to be caged when the truth finally kicks in and the party breaks into a free for all backstabbing wraslin match, complete with folding chairs being slammed on each others backs.

Michael Moore will silently slither up to Canada and hide.

Hoover didn't prove that unrestrained capitalism didn't work. He proved that if the Federal Reserve contracts the money supply, and the Government Raises taxes, the Government can shut down the economy for about 3 years.

When Roosevelt came in, he shows that more bad programs could strangle a recovery in its crib.

For example: Farm subsidies for not growing crops= lots of money for the land owners, and no money at all for the share croppers. Union wages= unemployment for blacks.

That forced the migration of millions of blacks to the northern cities, and the southern democrats said "It was good."

Disruption of the economy, but a temporary disruption. Eventually when the whites were drafted, this created openings, yes for Rosie the Riveter, but also for Leroy the Bucker.

FDR was the second worst president of the US.

The courts may be more important to them at this juncture than having a majority of Senate Democrats in control, given the prospects of the future.

Rush nails it again.

Reality needs to set in with the Republicans...
i.e. Show me a republican that will turn down a government check.. Republican party today is what the democrat party used to be.. AND the democrat party has been a socialist organization.. for 40 years.. at least.. Republican Party is living on an old rep.. as is the democrat party. Neither are what they seem.. Democrats are neo-communists and the republicans are neo-socialists.. and be advised communism "IS" socialism..

I believe that if the left had its way, they would eventually come up with a way for the judiciary to do away with elections and they would just retain all power.

We're ALREADY at that stage. These days it doesn't matter if you have a big electoral majority. Any legislation or ballot initiatives which go against the liberal agenda keep getting struck down by the judges. We're already at the stage where the legislature is just a figleaf covering up the reality of judicial power.

The Left does not HAVE to get legislation passed to ban guns, if they can do it with lawsuits against gun manufactorers

The LEFT does not HAVE to pass legislation against nuke power if they can win lawsuits and delay construction in court

The control of the courts is the key to the Left's power right now, along with the civil service bureaucrats they have inserted into the various agencies over the years. They will not let it go without fighting like cornered 'Rats
