I certainly am sorry that you had a bad experience at one hospital.
But you simply cannot make a blanket statement like you did.
I listed those family members that have had over night hospital stays. With the exception of my Dad (he died later), they are all still living.
None of them were terrorized in the middle of the night by Jason Jr, etc.
Don't let your common sense and emotions get confused.
Otherwise, using your logic (statement of "Never let a family member stay by themselves overnight in a hospital..) life would be pretty hard to do.......
Again, I won't say that "I understand your pain" - I can't, but what you say strikes me as borderline 'The World will end tomorrow!" stuff - tin foil hat material, etc.
What you experienced, you personally, does not make the rest of the world wrong.

I was NOT talking about being "terrorized".....just about the fact that nurses cannot be everywhere at all times, especially in the middle of the night (or on weekends) when the staff is smaller....Sheesh. And, maybe I should qualify what I said with....stay with those who are unable to take care of themselves, i.e. the elderly, children, or very ill.....
