I think Stronach was being groomed by Clinton to be PM, probably hoping she'd be in charge while Hill was in charge of the US.
Wonder why Stronach flaked so badly. Amazing.
We did that on Monday.
We may try again next week... :-)
Really?
Dang, I missed that!
Freepers did it in 2004. Organization saved the day! Organization saved the future of the United Sates of America!
We can do it. If we want to.
Are we mad enough yet?
Where in Ontario? Most of the rural areas are quite conservative...
This is going to backfire on the Fiberals! It has already started to - an Ottawa Citizen/COMPAS show had Conservative support at 38% and Liberal support at 29%!
I thought the same thing, then realized this is what the Dummies said and did not follow through.
That vote was 152 to 152. Don't forget Martin literally bought this tie. This does not go lost on half of Canadians.
The road to "Separation", both by the West and by Quebec got a huge kickstart today. The Libranos are doomed to lose all their seats in Quebec despite all the "heroic" spin our MSM is mustering.
The Gomery Inquiry will get worse, wilder and more direct as it drags on. Quebec Separatists (whom I can't believe I'm empathizing with today) will beat the drum loudly through the rest of this year.
Because the budget passed, the Libranos have lost their case on Harper being the monster.
Sounds like Canada is imploding.
Sault Ste. Marie and Route 17.
Route 17 EAST of Sault Ste. Marie, not north, that is.
Ted Kennedy, as you probably already know, is one of the USA's most asinine politicians. Not only did he leave a yound woman to drown in a submerged automobile, he used his power as a Senator and his family connections to keep the woman's relatives from talking.
Please add me. I'm interested in this turn of events. Hopefully, Canada's parliament will become conservative, and Canada and the USA can enjoy a BEEYOOTIFUL friendship together.
Gmmac, can you add to your list too please?
It would be cool if the Western provinces seceded to the United States. We would have a land link between the lower 48 and Alaska (a good thing strategically) and, if I'm correct, we would get a handful more conservative U.S. Senators.
I'm just curious, how big a threat would the Bloc Quebecois (did I get that right?) have been to national unity had the conservatives won the vote? And, might it not be better to just let Quebec secede?
