This is a tough one for those (like myself) who oppose havign women in combat. It seems that they may be indispensible.

While I'm opposed to women in combat, the idea of a misogynistic jihadi terrorist being killed by a woman warms my heart.

>>>>Terrorists have taken to giving some weapons or other items to women they are with, to hide in their clothing.

This makes alot of sense for THIS story now.

excerpt: She gives an example of a Muslim woman who aroused suspicion by pulling away when a police dog sniffed her purse -- she had a Koran in the purse, and she did not want the dog, considered unclean, to come in contact with the Holy Book. /excerpt

Nice doggy must have smelled something. Cause, according to Islam, nice woman wouldn't normally be carrying a Quran.

People have long made the point that since World War II, when cities were heavily bombed, no one is safe in a country at war. Certainly Iraqi women and children have been killed in bombings and at checkpoints. Whether we call them combat positions or not, there don't seem to many safe areas in Iraq. It should be safe to drive a truck from Baghdad to the airport, but it is not. How do you make the distinction in a dangerous situation like this? Anyway, as this article points out, women soldiers are indispensable in Iraq due to the culture.

But even more to the point, our experienced women soldiers will become even more valuable if U.S. recruiting continues to drop.
