Whether it was rational or not, I do believe there was rioting in the streets over this story and that at least 17 people died as a result.

People can make the case that Isikoff and Newsweek are not directly responsible. In a way I agree. The fact still remains, that if this "LIE" had not been devised, published and distributed, those seventeen people would still be alive today.

I'm of the opinion that if I did something at my place of employment that led to rioting and the loss of seventeen lives, whether it was here in the U.S. or overseas, I would probably not be allowed to do it again.

Isikoff will be allowed to do it again, whether it be tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. Newsweek will be allowed to carry on with it's head held high.

No, terrorists don't need our help to kill people. It just gripes me that they get so much of it.

If the Koran had been flush, it wouldn't be any more of a story than if a Bible were flush, and Newsweek wouldn't publish that on page 13,429,527,663,872 if there were such a thing. Why did they print the Koran story, knowing damned will it would start a Abu Grab prison level bruhau?

Newsweek is a gutter dwelling bottom feeding organization.

btw, have you seen and CREDIBLE proof that there were 17 deaths as a direct result? Or are you/I/we taking for granted it is true?

THAT story may well be BS, too.

LOTS of stuff being conjured up these days, don't forget.
