Prime Minister of Egypt Ahmed Nazif and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw met separately with President Bush at the White House.
A grenade thrown toward President Bush in the former Soviet republic of Georgia was live, but failed to explode because of a malfunction, the FBI said today.
President's remarks at the RNC Presidential Gala last night.

Bo's second song was so good it allowed us to overlook his horrible third song, "Satisfaction" :o
I don't care who wins as long as it's either Bo or Carrie. Not Vonzell! She was way out of her league last night.

Well, aren't you special. Bless your heart!

I have always been a Carrie fan, but Bo is still right in there. Vonzell is not on a par with these two.

I hope the final two is Carrie and Bo--it'll be much more interesting to see those two fighting each other than one of them against Vonzell. Poor Vonzell would lose in a landslide :(
To: JustaCowgirl
Okay, Justacowgirl, I missed the whole thing. First Reid calls W a loser, and what did he call Cheney, the president of the Senate?!?!?!? And why, for heaven's sake? And didn't his mother ever teach him that name calling is, well, a little beneath high school boys, let alone US senators?

W may have been thinking of this lady and of her fellow judge Janice Rogers Brown. Both of them have been waiting four years for confirmation, and have been subjected to numerous smears and attacks from the left during that time.
Texas Supreme Court Judge Priscilla Owen arrives at the White House, Tuesday, May 17, 2005, to meet with President Bush and California judge Janice Rogers Brown. The Senate's top leaders have ended their attempt to find a compromise on President Bush's stalled judicial nominees, but other members continued to work on a possible deal to clear five blocked appeals court appointees and end threats to change the long-standing filibuster rules. It will be an awesome final with Carrie and Bo!
I assume that eveyone is up on the news that the grenade thrown at W was "live" (shudder)? And also that Cbs had canceled 60 Minutes Wednesday? Hoo-Rah!

This is a joke where a "virtual" broken toaster was awarded by Brad's Grandma to the first poster on the dose each night.
I have picked up on it and modified it to a choice of virtual toaster for the first poster such as the one I am about to post to Justacowgirl.

Reid said Cheney was "paramour" instead of "paramount" I think.....Is that right, JustaCowgirl?

Finally the debate begins!
If Frist has any presidential ambitions, this is his make or break moment.
If he caves to the Dems, fails to rally his 55 vote majority, or doesn't move to the nuclear option (all else failing to get a vote for our judges), then he hasn't got a prayer of ever being considered seriously for leadership of the whole U.S.

I detest Harry Reid Well don't feel alone. I simply cannot abide him. I swear, someone needs to get him his blanky and his binky and send him somewhere in the back to suck his thumb.
I didn't hear it, so I don't understand exactly how he happened to call Cheney that. Apparently it was a misspeak and he used the wrong word when he meant something else. I am mystified about what he might have meant to say, but I'm sure it was neither flattering or at all profound.
