WASHINGTON (AFP) - Claiming invasion of privacy and humiliation, a staff attorney for a US senator has filed suit against a woman who published details of their sexual relationship on her blog, or web log.
Robert Steinbuch, a counsel for Republican Senator Michael DeWine, filed the civil suit on Monday against Jessica Cutler, whose brief employment on DeWine's staff was terminated by revelations about her graphic journal of her sexual escapades.
Writing under the nom de plume "Washingtonienne," Cutler last year briefly kept an X-rated on-line diary of her simultaneous relationships with up to six men around town, including an unidentified Bush administration appointee.
Steinbuch was not identified in the diary but he claimed in the suit filed in US District Court here that Cutler's use of his initials, "R.S.," first name and other details made him "clearly identifiable."
"Cutler's outrageous actions, setting before anyone in the world with access to the Internet intimate and private facts regarding (Steinbuch), constituted a gross invasion of his privacy," the suit said.
"The widespread public dissemination of private facts have caused (Steinbuch) to suffer severe emotional distress, humiliation, embarrassment and anguish," the suit added, requesting unspecified damages.
Since gaining notoriety as "Washingtonienne," Cutler signed a book deal for a reported 300,000 dollar advance and posed nude for Playboy magazine.

First he did the screwing, now he is getting a screwing. At least he learned it without having to be married first.
Steinbuch has a wife called Diana, 36 with 2 children. Yet somehow the bimbo is to blame for his troubles? BTW: she's a hottie all right...
Wrong. see above.
Shouldn't she be in some legal trouble since she's bragging about taking money for sex?
So NOW they want privacy. LOL
Perhaps in America, but not in Washington.
Also note, no one ever sues because the ex said bad things about him.
His suit is gonna get tossed into the same trash heap as this ho came from.
If this is the case he is in REAL trouble...
AWWWW... (I'm not a fan of lawyers.)
Oh no, we're not going to have to hear about the worthless sleazy bloggettes again, are we?
Whoa.... This one's back? I remember the story about this pig and her blog from a year or two ago. The wheels of litigation turn slowly indeed.
