The ratings are a content call made by the viewers, not by squish-headed network managers.

....was where Rather reported last September that Bush skirted some duty while in the Texas Air National Guard and a commander felt pressure to sugarcoat an evaluation of him. An independent panel later concluded that documents used in the story could not be verified. How do you like that phrasing? How about:
...where Dan Rather and 60 Minutes used forged documents to undermine and influence an American election in favor of John Kerry. Although an independent panel would not conclude the documents were forged, their authenticity was immediately questioned by BuckHead, one of the many pajama clad patrollers keeping an eye on the MSM today."

I guess the 'decent interval' has finally expired. They must drop the 'Other Shoe' from a fantastic height.

Moonves, STH up....nobody belives a single word out of your self-serving, lying mouth.
Longtime 60 Minutes honcho Dan Hewitt (now retired) was never shy about brainwashing audiences, for his own political purposes.
Hewitt put the lying Clintons on and launched their presidential candidacy.
Savvy viewers knew they were lying, and years later in his autobio Hewitt admitted he knew the Clintons were lying, but put them on anyway.
Scumbag.

Why are your federal tax dollars being used to pay the ACLU to bring frivolous lawsuits against you. Uhhhh....what?
Wrong thread, maybe?

Now, if they would only cancel SeeB.S. completely, we'd be in the good.

No
Just asking every time I make a post if people know that your federal tax dollars are being used to pay the ACLU attorney fees.
This is outrages and should be stopped.
The question is to big and important for a tag line.

An independent panel later concluded that documents used in the story could not be verified. This is liberal speak for :
An independent panel later concluded that documents used in the story were forged.
The press has no difficulty calling the Niger documents 'forgeries' after being identified as such by a French IAEA staffer but can't seem to bring themselves to admit the CBS documents were forgeries as well. Nor are they too interested in who forged them or who paid for the forgeries.

NEW YORK - CBS said Wednesday it is cancelling the Wednesday edition of "60 Minutes," insisting the decision was made because of poor ratings and not last fall's ill-fated story about President Bush's military service One is not necessarily unrelated to the other.
