So what happend on the Galloway hearing ? I heard that he is not very honest man, but not much more...
See post below yours
He ranted, lied and made a complete horse's backside of himself.
Denied any fault, and hurled invective at us, at President Bush and (less directly) at our military.
And he's going to get away with it cold.
He went back to England.
LOL
Ok
I just realised someone just posted some news...
Aint diplomatic immunity great?
He's a crazed,hate-filled nut! The venom that spewed out of his mouth astonished me.
He certainly has a right to defend himself but to come to this country and pour out his hate for the USA astonished me.
We should aall be so lucky...
SIGH
The comedian who used to smash watermelons onstage?
I think he was replaced in cultural significance by Carrot Top.
All three cable networks showed his testimony yesterday (where he just BLASTED Norm Coleman), but then they'd cut to other stories when the Senate was to respond. Then back to Galloway when he spoke. Talk about one sided coverage!!! (Note: CSPAN was covering the Senate's discussion of the Highway bill.)
He was adamant that he had done nothing wrong, but Coleman et al later said they had a ton of evidence on him anyway. CNN had a woman on last night who said that Galloway was caustic in every situation, and that they're used to him and his ways in England. I thought (for a split second) he was so vicious because he may have been innocent, but apparently that's how he talks in every situation.
He's not English. :)
Well, what did you expect? Anybody who's watched a "Question Hour" in Parliament would have realized that bringing Galloway to a Congressional committee would be like bringing a SEAL to a barroom scuffle.
Coleman showed just how timid the pubbies are when in an adversarial situation. Coleman should have put this loudmouth in his place but missed the opportunity & looked like the characteristic neutered pubbie.
That kind of viciousness is typical of frauds and career liars. Think Ward Churchill, or that lady who planted the finger in the chili. True, professional shamelessness includes having the brass to act like the world's biggest victim even when your wretchedness has been exposed for all to see.
Yes, that was the amazing part. He acted as if HE was the victim!!!
It's a good thing he didn't testify in the House. Tom DeLay would have personally beaten the slimy limey to a pulp.
