While I don't think the Pentagon should dictate what a magazine publishes, there is that old saying about yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theatre. What Newsweek published was patently untrue--in fact, the only Koran flushing going on seems to have been done by Muslim prisoners. Yes, I think they should be held responsible for all damages. I hope the rag goes out of business, and takes a lot of its friends down with them.

SOMEONE needs to do the job.
When this story broke I asked some people I work with, (most of the people I work with pay very little attention to this kind of thing) too a person their answer was 'well what did they expect would happen? Don't they know anything about the Arabs?
