We aren't even CLOSE to the "nuke option" yet---but you can tell your lib friends that the dems are making fools of themselves, and have closed down legislative work in the Senate like they threatened to, which is not gonna get them any brownie points....
What the Dems have done is just plain foolish. They should have stopped this cr** as soon as Bush won the election. They sure as hell don't want the filibuster for judges in place if they win the Whitehouse...I believe there is no limit to the number of Judges that sit on the Supreme Court.
