Christianity - Central principle is "Love".

Hinduism - Central Principle is "non-violence". Example Gandhi.

Budhism - Central principle "dharma" i.e what is justified but adhering to non-violence.

Islam - Central principle "jihad" i.e to fight for Allah. fighting for Allah is described in Quran 4: All verses and a lot of other suras.


All the above religions preach love tolerance and kindness for the fellow human beings EXCEPT islam. All the above religions except islam has their books chronologically well organized. Islamic violent book of Jihad is the most chaotic book one can ever try reading.

Islam preaches BEHEADING. Infact, the word LOVE is not there anywhere to be found in Quran. All that is there in Quran is murder, rape and plundering non-Muslims. Like what CAIR is doing since its inception....Using our own laws to bankrupt us.

I hope our idiosyncratic politicians open their fat filled eye lids and take control of the situation before we see suicide bombings right in USA like the ones that happen in my country India (Kashmir) and in Israel.

When I was deployed to Saudi Arabia a few years ago, while in the customs line, the guy in front of me had a bible that had pictures. The Saudi customs official tore out every picture he found in it. I personally witnessed this.

The sad thing is, there was nothing noone could do. We were, after all, "in their country, and we must respect their religious beliefs".

Our military DOES go out of our way to handle the Koran with care and respect. It's a shame some muslims do not extend the favor.

I collect primary religious texts so I had a nice copy of the quran (I will not honor it, nor 'muslims', with a capital.  Neither are worthy of even that).

I say "had" because I got about half-way through it before I tossed it in the garbage.  Up to that point the only other book I'd done that with was Mien Kampf.

In terms of it's stature with other primary religious texts -the Bible, Dhammapada, Avesta, Tao Te Ching, the Upanisads, etc..- it's the odd man out on way to many subjects to be considered worthy of reading.

I don't trust anyone who believes it.

Interesting: (1) - the Koran is in verse like the Bible and (2) - reads in King James English (or Shakespearian) ... hmmmm

The Bible was not (except the poetry parts) written in verse originally. This was added later for ease of reference. Also, most English translations use contemporary English rather than Shakespeare's variety.

I can bet 100 % this is a version of Quran that is "sanitized" for the gullible Americans' consumption.

Yes, I know all that plus it originally was all caps (at least the first version in Greek). What was interesting to me is how the Koran is trying to be "biblical" like .... figure if you write in KJ English, it'd sound or read more religiously ...

Thank you......this is what I see when I read it. It is so dark and bleak....my question is how can any one believe in something so dark, even if they are raised with it? The whole mystery of the world to a muslim can be read front to back in three days or less......Karan....sheeesh. It is the exact opposite....Quran = Satan.......Bible = Yahweh..........
