Nazi is only "Right Wing" when compared to Communist (thus why the National Socialist party was branded 'right wing' when competing against the communist party of Germany in the 30s). They are still "Left Wing" in the greater political world..

Extreme Left = Total governmental control (Totalitarian Communist)
Extreme Right = 0 governmental control (anarchy)

The "balance" need to be redesignated to be bounded by Despotism (Communist, Fascist, etc.) and Democracy or even no government (the black shirted anarchists are really just socialists of another stripe).

America's Left and Right is not the same as Europe's. The media loves this characterization of the US left.
