know Thine Enemy
The Washington Times ^ | 5-17-05 | Frank J. Gaffney Jr.

Flash: Newseek has apologized. The magazine's editor says he is sorry for printing a possibly "mistaken" article that accused U.S. interrogators at Guantanamo of throwing copies of the Koran into prisoners' toilets. Evidently, Newsweek particularly regrets the murderous anti-American rioting the erroneous report set off in various parts of the Muslim world. Ironic though it may seem, we might just owe Newsweek a debt of gratitude for its shoddy reportage. After all, it provided a wake-up call to see how quickly and how skillfully our enemies seized upon evidence of American purported hostility to Islam to advance their own agenda.

"Islamism is on the march in such disparate places as Western Europe, Bosnia, Indonesia, Latin America and Africa."

And the offices of Newsweek.

IDIOT!!! Newsweek is interested only in their own agenda. If the report would have been true they would still print it and to heck with whoever gets killed.

Know Thine Enemy:

MSM with a agenda is my enemy. They want to change the government in this country and they don't care how they do it. They don't have the power to do it at the point of a gun so they incite and subvert to egg others to do it. They are so righteous and dumb they don't realize that in any overthrow their rights and agenda would be the first casualties.

"...and even the White House have "reached out" to groups known to be sympathetic — if not actually tied — to Islamist terrorism."

Ya think so, Frank?

Islam is not a religion. It is a political movement masquerading as religion. Conquest of the "infidel" is not religion--it is naked aggression.

Man, for a minute I thought that was Springsteen with a shaved head. I wonder if the boss is a sleeper. It would make since.

"...for a minute I thought that was Springsteen with a shaved head."

LOL! Well, the "boss" sure isn't known for his support of the WOT.

I can tell you that when Bush met with CAIR's ambassadors of "the religion of peaceTM" right after 9/11, not once but twice, none of them looked remotely like Springsteen.

Know Thine Enemy [within]

This generation of MSM "reporters" have a lot to live up to.

Look, the American media were such a prized asset for the North Vietnamese Communists that their top general (General Giap) wrote in his biography that they were his most valuable guerrilla.*

Today's MSM "reporters" are just a little clumsy, that's all. Not everyone can be as smooth as a Walter Cronkite.

Pretty soon they'll have us handing victory to radical Islam no matter that -- just like Viet Nam -- our forces defeated the enemy every time on the battlefield.

Problem is, this time it's for all the marbles.

* So I was told. I saw the statement in a translation of a French TV interview with the General.

P.S. I soon learned to skip Newsweek during the Viet Nam war years, too much like the TV networks. Time and U.S. News were far, far better at real reporting. The best I can tell from rare visits to the barbers they both are pretty pathetic excuses for news magazines today compared to the old days.

I just want a toilet like that. Mine barely flushes toilet paper. This Cuban one can take regular paper. What a miracle! I have to have one of those. I did not know we could manufacture such things.

This was part of the campaign to kill America by 10,000 paper-cuts that the MSM leftists are involved in.

Newsweaks error was not that they hurt us... their error was that the underestimated how much damage this story would do. They want to incite the muslims and cause American soldiers deaths... just not all at once. They were shooting for a cherrybomb and got a MOAB.

If they are sorry, it not because they hurt America this much, it is because they hurt us this much in one shot, and made their plan obvious.
