Galloway speaks to the media after arriving Monday at Dulles International Airport outside Washington.

(CNN) -- British Parliament member George Galloway will face his accusers when he testifies Tuesday before a U.S. Senate panel probing the U.N. oil-for-food program in Iraq.

Galloway is due to appear before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which stated in a report last week that deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein granted him vouchers for 20 million barrels of oil between 2000 and 2003.

**SNIP**

Galloway is scheduled to appear late Tuesday morning in Washington as the final witness in a hearing that begins at 9:30 a.m. ET.

**SNIP**

Galloway, 51, who met with Saddam several times in the 1990s, has been a leading critic of British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his alliance with U.S. President George Bush in the war with Iraq. He was re-elected on an anti-war platform earlier this month.

**SNIP**

A new report from Democrats on the Senate subcommittee concludes the United States ended up with a majority of the oil lifted from Iraq after vendors paid illicit surcharges of 10 cents to 30 cents a barrel to Saddam.

**SNIP**

The Democratic report found Bayoil shipped a lot of oil allocated to a company called Italtech run by Augusto Giangrandi, a sometime Florida resident with dual Chilean-Italian citizenship.

After all who will object or be offended? The planet very much spins on the back of the leftwing, worldwide media.

Nonsense. you spend too much time with your nose in the Media. Did you not see the reception that Bush got in Georgia.

democrats were acting like Reid did 100 years ago.

And we did not "barely win," we got 51% of the largest voter turnout in our history, much more than Billy Clinto ever had.

Cheer up, you are playing right into their hands.

I guess that makes me a pretty lousy slueth, huh?

I think that C-span's schedule is pretty fluid after the House and Senate recess in the afternoons, so I would keep checking, but also on C-span's home page will have a list of the hearings and such that have been taped, and you can access it from an archive....it probably won't be on that list yet...

OXEN IN FLA is the c-span expert, maybe she will know...

Otherwise the story of the day is Americans alleged to have made more Iraq kickback profits than the rest of world together and even this one Brit we went after turned out to be unsubstantiated

Are you an American? I ask because I've yet to see you post ANYTHING supportive of the United States.

All I know is, if they postponed the rest of the hearing to wait for "a better time"--it may never start again, since they are supposed to do the judicial nominees, and the Bolton nomination the rest of this week and next---

Is Galloway supposed to sit around and wait until they get done? because I think the go out on Memorial break after that, for what 2-3 weeks? They hardly ever work---

I can't figure out why they brought him in if they were only gonna have an hour or more to do this....

I am venting with you!!!

Thanks, Txsleuth

Even if they didn't air it, do you think they recorded it anyway? If they didn't tape it, will they still have a copy in their archives?

Why in the world didn't they air it??? /aargh>

I have been gone for a few hours, but I must tell you that Coleman DID present evidence. That is what preceded Galloway's testimony, all the discussion of documents and signatures. Coleman has Galloway dead to rights, and that is why Galloway was ranting. He cannot refute anything except to say those papers are forgeries, which they are NOT, as Coleman documented this morning.

};o)

It's OK, not the 1st time that's happened.....

What was the question anyway? If this hearing will be replayed?

The part of me that is hard to lose is the 'I want instant revenge' when they slam either one of the things I love.

We all want revenge; but you have to learn to be patient; we don't do things the way liberals do them; we do them with truth and facts on our side -- and we don't make fools out of ourselves.

I said as much as well. All that was accomplished was he was able to go on a live, world wide anti-American rant.

If that was all they had, they should have just let him stay home.

Their deranged behavior over the past 10, 20 years is creating a very strong rope with which to be hung.

Yes--the anti-liberal was wanting to view a replay and said it isn't on the C-span schedule--

I mentioned that c-span is usually pretty fluid with their evening programming, but also mentioned that c-span would probably have it archived...then suggested that you know a lot more than I do re: c-span, and you might know...

DO you?

We all want revenge; but you have to learn to be patient;

Patience is a virtue I keep trying to achieve.

Vengeance is a trait I have trouble throwing off.

we do them with truth and facts on our side --

Truth and facts have a hard time being heard over the drone of lies and propaganda sometime.

But I shall persevere in both cases.

I would imagine it will be replayed.

C-span updates their web schedule throughout the day.

But it depends on how long the House or Senate is on tonight, if they run late we might have to wait till the weekend for the replay.

I have been thinking while getting some chores done anad getting my granddaughter down for her nap. Why did Norm have Galloway on today?

The meeting of the Senators was already scheduled, so it wasn't a surprise. Galloway could have been delayed until later in the week.

So, we had a meeting simply to let Galloway rant on TV.

Now Norm Coleman is not a stupid guy. There has to be a reason he wanted Galloway there, and was willing to put up with all the invective. I notice Coleman didn't get rattled one bit by all the insults. He just kept asking questions.

I can't help but think that Norm is up to something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I am certain this happened just as Coleman expected.
