Galloway speaks to the media after arriving Monday at Dulles International Airport outside Washington.

(CNN) -- British Parliament member George Galloway will face his accusers when he testifies Tuesday before a U.S. Senate panel probing the U.N. oil-for-food program in Iraq.

Galloway is due to appear before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which stated in a report last week that deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein granted him vouchers for 20 million barrels of oil between 2000 and 2003.

**SNIP**

Galloway is scheduled to appear late Tuesday morning in Washington as the final witness in a hearing that begins at 9:30 a.m. ET.

**SNIP**

Galloway, 51, who met with Saddam several times in the 1990s, has been a leading critic of British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his alliance with U.S. President George Bush in the war with Iraq. He was re-elected on an anti-war platform earlier this month.

**SNIP**

A new report from Democrats on the Senate subcommittee concludes the United States ended up with a majority of the oil lifted from Iraq after vendors paid illicit surcharges of 10 cents to 30 cents a barrel to Saddam.

**SNIP**

The Democratic report found Bayoil shipped a lot of oil allocated to a company called Italtech run by Augusto Giangrandi, a sometime Florida resident with dual Chilean-Italian citizenship.

"This guy is just spouting the DU propaganda, did they write his speech?"
Here is what they are saying.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=3672157&mesg_id=3672157 "

It seems they are having a nice laugh at their own countries expense. They sicken me! I would gladly trade any peaceful illegal for the DU traders.
It pains me to say it because *boarder control* is my biggest issue, but people like the DUer's don't deserve to live here.

Exactly. Say, I see that we have an operational F-22 squadron now.

We are the best country on the face of the earth.

I know that. It's like some kid saying your mother is fat, and all you want to do is punch them in the face.

The world at this time is topsy turvy, good is bad...bad is good.

I don't care what other countries think, because in the end, they will scream for our protection as partners, or get their asses kicked as enemies. The daily back and forth does not matter. That only sells lying newsprint.

What matters is that the conservative agenda moves forward, whether those commie-bastards like it or not.

You're right. It just felt good when I kicked her ass for calling my mama fat.

I am sad for them, (us), we are an Oprah nation, emotional, illogical, unable to put in context any policy dispute or historical event, know no history, we are tired of the war, lazy, want gov help with health care and SS, they want gas prices low, and believe every conspiracy theory that comes along.

We blame politicians for our voting results, and love the UN.

Soon we will be rooting for Saddam, we believe the Newsweak we read in our Dr office waiting room, and we believe pundits on TV, because they are on TV.

Do an experiment, starting tomorrow, and for the next week, talk 10 people on the street, in the store, everyone you meet, questions about our soldiers flushing the Koran, was the war worth it, is Saddam innocent, SS, private accts, health care, gas, ect, you will get an exact parroting of what you hear on the news.

BTW, ask them, and they will tell you Clinton was impeached for sex.

The world does not "survive by soundbite." Rather it is the Left, the media whores and the useful idiots of the Left that do this.

You give far to much credit to the media and the Left, they are losing in the USA, and it is only a matter of time before they are discredited in the EU.

You are playing their game. Conservatives will never win the "soundbite" game.

"I'm going to look at it from an anti-American view point. That said, evidence means nothing to the world. Look how crazy it went with the lie from newsweak.
I'm tired of America being dragged through the mud world wide. Galloway gave the world what it wanted, screw you America. I bet all those who oppose us are as giddy as a virgin on her wedding night.
Will the media expose it when galloway goes to jail. The world has short term memory."

3 Cheers, That was well said! I totally agree.

When or if Galloway goes to jail will only be mentioned as a blurb as they are cutting back to the Jackson trials.

I hear nothing about Blix, and yet he walks around with his pockets full of blood money.
I hope I'm wrong; I really do.

I've only been a conservative since 9-11. Part of my mind is still in the sound bite mode from 32 years of indoctrination from the left. I'm breaking away more and more. I love being a Republican and a conservative. The part of me that is hard to lose is the 'I want instant revenge' when they slam either one of the things I love.

"One poster says that Levin was raising his voice--
you say Levin was kissing his a$$--
Which was it, was Levin angry with him or kissing up to him?"

Sorry, I didn't see your post.

I said Levin kissed his ass, but in reality he just didn't reel him in, or press him. I think he went easy on him. I over exaggerated.

The other poster was angry with him.
Levin was getting a bit annoyed at one point, but it seemed to me it was because Galloway wouldn't answer anything and kept interupting Levin.

I think Coleman did a better job than Levin, and as far as talking points go Galloway won hands down. I hope when they come back they have a better grip on how to handle Galloway.
BTW, the DUer's have rave reviews on how Galloway made a joke of the U.S. today. I can't wait until we get the last laugh.

Sorry about the confusion; I can get a bit carried away.
Teresa

I was once a democrat too. I know the feeling. I do not know the answer, but we must stop them cold while at the same time we must resist becoming like them. Immorality and indecency are repugnate no matter what one's politics. If we are merely an opposing politicsl interest then we are not worth the bother.

We must bring America back to herself: We cannot do that if we adopt the "Ends justify the Means" mentality of the Left. THat is how we got here in the first place. Otherwise we just replace one tyrant with another.

I often feel the way you do, but I am humbled by how people like Bush and Cheney just plunge ahead, get results and fail to stoop to the level of the liberals. It is something to think about.
