He doesn't repeat mistakes? Isn't this the guy who has kids with about 5 different mothers and wasn't married to a single one?

Mfume, who is divorced, has previously admitted dating the woman in 1997 and adopting her son

Yeah, that makes sense. Date the woman a few times and adopt her child. Is there part of the story missing here? Paternity test, maybe ?

Mfume is well on the way to starting his own tribe of bastards. He should be the poster boy for Cosby's campaign against irresponsible black men.

U.S. Senate candidate Kweisi Mfume said having a romantic relationship with a subordinate while heading the NAACP was a "boneheaded thing to do."

Which head and which bone?

Adopting a womans son to get in her pants sounds pretty boneheaded to me.

Does he pay child support to this adopted son?

How many men do you know who would adopt a son but wouldnt marry the mother? Yeah that sounds a little boneheaded too.

Does he pay child support to any of his own 5 illigitimate children.

He says the relationship was shortlived and he dropped her because he realised it was boneheaded. Can adoption of the son be shortlived too or can that be annulled?

One thing I am sure of This guy has way too many boneheaded stunts in his record to be my Senator.

Kweisi Mfume (October 24, 1948) is the former CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), as well as a former United States Congressman.

Mfume was born Frizzell Gray in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was a street hustler and high school drop-out prior to age 23. Gray had an epiphany and dedicated to remake his life. He legally changed his name to Kweisi Mfume, a name from Ghana meaning "Conquering son of Kings." Mfume went back to school and earned a bachelor’s degree from Morgan State University, and a master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University. He had his start in politics in 1979 by being elected to the Baltimore City Council. He served on the council until 1986, when he was elected to the United States House of Representatives, representing the 7th district of Maryland. While in Congress, Mfume served as the leader of the Congressional Black Caucus from 1992 to 1994. In 1996 Mfume stepped down from his seat in Congress to take up the position as CEO of the NAACP, a capacity that he served until he stepped down on December 31, 2004.

On March 14, 2005, Mfume announced that he will seek the U.S. Senate seat of current long-standing senator Paul Sarbanes (D-MD), following the announcement by Sarbanes that he will not be running for re-election in 2006.

Internal NAACP documents indicate rumors of several women.

Since he's done this long & strong, how many different times will we have to hear this story ?...of course only the names and dates will change.

It will probably become a MS-WORD template.
