Agreed. The first line of defense against this and other garbage being forced onto our kids is the strength of the family unit.Parents have to be proactive and absolutely insist that they, and they alone, reserve moral and spiritual license where their kids are concerned. If parents are lax and complacent in asserting their rights as to what their kids can & cannot be exposed to,this stuff will gain an ever stronger foothold and become the rule of the day.(God forbid, the whole country will become Massafornia!)
Some family ethics are timeless, and should remain so.
Just opining.....

I think everyone would agree with the point you both raise. Some parents are involved, some have no idea what's going on and some don't care.

I encourage you to read what happened to concerned parent David Parker. Mr Parker stated he wanted his son opted out of any homosexual teaching. The school played with him, twisted his words, and refused to cooperate. He was eventually arrested for trespassing when he wouldn't leave without an agreement to opt out his son.

As I see it, parents getting involved, parents getting proactive and insisting on reserving the right to discuss sexual issues with their children are wasting their time as David Parker found out. As the school his child attends thinks they know better, and are ignoring his request to opt out his son.

Watch the O'Reilly segment found at the above link.
