I had no such illusion. Reid as compared to Daschle is like well comparing Genghis Kahn to the Pope. Reid is a rather scar tissue street fighter guy. The guy has an anger, which Daschle did not (D was just another political hack filling a niche, like most of his species). I can almost feel the Reid anger coming through the tube. Thank heavens Reid doesn't drink. He would be a very mean drunk.
