Yeah, that is spooky.


When I say "enough computing power to run a space program," I'm talking about the craft AND ground control.

If you read between the lines of Heinlein's "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" it would be quite clear why we are still messing around in LEO.

Yeah, makes ya wonder. I once heard a comparison that the entire computering power of NASA during the Gemini era is the equivalent of an Apple ][ computer.
