And to think I just got out and played my Stargate cartridge for the Atari 2600 on Saturday (awesome cart, btw).
That reads like a cold-war-era supercomputer.
One could power a space program with such a computer.
Ogg! Ogg...! Ogg!! the BASE!!!
(... whoops! Wrong game.)
I remember how happy eveyone was back when I shipped a couple of PS2 units and games to my nephew in Iraq... this one would probably go over even better, if I could afford it!
Cool, I was just looking for some decent images
This is nothing. In 25 years, you will have a computer 100 times as powerful as this sitting on your wristwatch.
I am glad that it will have HDMI output. Get some 1080i action.
With respect, this is something. In the future it will be nothing, but right now, it is "frickin' sweet."
There's a conspiracy theory for you to chew on.
Yeah, that is spooky.
When I say "enough computing power to run a space program," I'm talking about the craft AND ground control.
I'm counting on $399 to $499 initial Christmas cost.
Forget 1080i, progressive is what you want for fast gameplay. This thing does the latest and greatest..1080p
Bummer. Only 64 colors. The Atari 2600 VCS from the previous decade could display 128 simultaneous with the right programming.
Cheap way to get blu ray
Interesting Sidenote: You're average CAR RADIO in 2004 contins more electonic power (in CPU TERMS) than the LUNAR ROVER does.
