Three thoughts:

1. How many stories about the Clinton Administration did the ever-so-balanced MSM have to retract?

2. Do you think Michael Isikoff would publish anything any of us called up and told him that was not seconded or verifiable?

3. Does Evan Thomas wishes that he and his MSM buddies were able to deliver 17% to Kerry instead of the 15% they claimed they could?

I'm sorry, but Michael Isikoff should be charged with a crime of reporting false information.

Information that he knew was not verifiable.

There is no such thing as 'freedom of the press' when it comes to lying.

The aforementioned Marc Falkoff should not be confused with the American Enterprise Institute’s homonymic Latin American expert, Mark Falcoff.

Who you callin' homonymic? Mark Falkoff awmost kilt a man for dat!

The Left’s journalistic jihad against the War on Terror

No, they aren't against the war on terror. The staff of Newsweek is against the United States and all that it stands for and they enjoy inflicting harm on our country. They are in fact participants, albeit naive ones, in the jihad against the U.S.

Agreed. If when there is no fire, I yell "fire" in a crowded theater and people are crushed to death, I am guilty of negligent homicide. If I am negligent in any way, I should be tried to punished if found guilty.

We should extradit to Afghanistan Isikoff and the editors of Newsweek who chose to print his story. Then let Afghanistan prosecute them for Negligent Homicide in the deaths of the people there.

It's even worse than that because, by every news account, this thing isn't over and there may stil be more deaths as a result of it.

This guy should be hauled to Jail and charged with sedition, at the very least.

Of all of the times you need a trial lawyer, one of the afghani victims needs to go into NYC federal court and due Newsweak over this and take down this rag for good. It would be better for the wife of a afghani farmer to own this rag for for Evan Thomas to be running it.

Apparently they did.

Not only that, but if they can fire Jason Blair from Time for fabricating stories then Isikoff should be fired immediately and held personally responsible for these deaths.
