Has anyone heard the rumor that recently officials in the Republican party told Tancredo to get out (of the party?)

Tancredo is a hero in my book.

Maybe this writer ought to really ask and inquire is crime by illegal aliens so rare?

They're just committing the crimes Americans won't commit.

Why turn a blind eye to illegals?

Because you plan to erase the border anyway, so why bother?

1.Confused (and enthusiastically unenlightened),
A little swipe from a little apologist.

2. It seems like this cretin reporter just can't quite give it to Congressman Tancredo when he knows he's right.

3.Clearly, Mayor Hickenlooper bears no responsibility for the hiring practices of the Cherry Cricket
The hell he doesn't.

I think Dane's Mommy has put him in the corner for a time out until he learns to behave and play nice with the other little boys and girls.

Yes, I have heard that. Also Karl Rove told him to never darken the doorstep of the white house again.

FrogDad was a grand jury member in the Federal Court at Tucson last year. They met every other week for a year. Another panel met in the opposite weeks.

He said that over 90% of the cases they heard involved illegals. Drugs, armed robbery, drugs, people smuggling, and more drugs.

Now, keep in mind that Arizona is a leaky-border state, but you have to wonder, are ALL of our Federal Courts this clogged with these cases? It's may not only be our hospitals they are bogging down.

Where did you hear that? I certainly hope it is false.

A week or two ago, during a debate at a Latino function at which both Rep Tom Tancredo (R-CO) and Rep Chris Cannon (Rep-UT) were on the panel, Cannon suggested that Tancredo did not belong in the Republican Party. Perhaps that is the source of your rumor. Other than that I have not heard anything.

If Tancredo leaves the Republican Party, then so do I! In many ways I already have. I return their postage paid envelopes empty except for a nasty-gram about securing the borders. I voted for Republican Congressmen but voted for the Conservative Party in the Presidential Race. Here in Wyoming it was a foregone conclusion that President Bush would win so I was free to vote my conscience.

You're right about the incident. All I heard was "Tancredo asked to leave Republican party" when I was driving to work & I didn't get to hear the story. But here is a link to the Rocky Mountain News article about the exchange. http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/state/article/0,1299,DRMN_21_3753626,00.html

We would be better off if Karl Rove never darkened the doorsteps of the White House again.

I do the same and have even taken lately to running off articles (paragraphs, really) about illegals and the crimes they commit and sending them to President Bush. Want to make sure he is aware of what his illegal friends are doing.

1.Confused (and enthusiastically unenlightened), "I"

That's the full quote. The columnist -- the only conservative one in Denver -- I think, is talking about himself.

I reread that quote and cannot definitivly say he was talking about himself or Tancredo. But I'll take your word for it. If he's a conservative writer, his nuance is slight. He seems to agree to open borders personally.
