Ghandi succeeded in wresting India from the British through non violent protest because the British were very decent.

This tactic only works when your opponents are better than you are.

When non violent protest was tried in Checzoclovakia, China, Hungary people were slaughtered.

Why, because those being protested against were not decent.

The left claims to espouse non violet protest but they are not non violent. They are the first to pick up stones and assault the police, old women, children and commit crimes against property.

When they don't get the desired effect they become more flamboyant and violent. Witness PETA and ELF.

They trust that the rest of us are like the British. To decent to retaliate.

What is required is to strike them down forcefully when they act up.

It requires the populace and the government to have a back bone. You have to press charges and prosecute.

Damn right. You don't break a union by patting an organizer on the head and telling him not to solicit union members on company time. You toss him and the folks you see discussing life with him on the street.
