...and there are clearly jobs that Americans will not do... Several years later, the immigrants and their families could become U.S. citizens.

A contradiction? Does this mean that after several years they will not do the jobs that they came her for?

"Our proposal is earmarked for jobs that Americans won't do, and there are clearly jobs that Americans will not do," says McCain.

Tell me a job an American will not do when faced with losing the home or eating?
Food stamps have been the undoing of productivity.
Illegal immigrants are viewed as new tax revenue for the government. Illegal immigrants are not only taking the so called jobs Americans won't do, but they are taking the jobs that Americans do every day and accepting less money because they are accustomed to a lower standard of living.
They are forcing a lower standard of living on ALL AMERICANS. Any politician who supports illegal immigration or amnesty is an enemy of America and needs to be REMOVED FROM OFFICE!!

"Our proposal is earmarked for jobs that Americans won't do, and there are clearly jobs that Americans will not do," says McCain.

We hear a lot about the work Americans WON'T do, but nothing about who did all that work before Mexicans came running across the border to do it.

Does this mean that Americans just stood around waiting for someone to do work for them? Did floors go unswept, crops go unpicked, and nothing got built?

There seems to be liberal propaganda constantly telling the American people that there's work that they cannot do. Work that only Mexicans can do. What does this say about the American work ethic? What does it say about the ability of Mexicans to do anything other than menial labor?

We have Americans who are out of work, and others that are on welfare. Why is it that these Americans aren't able to do the work that "only Mexicans will do"? Why doesn't McCain put more emphasis on putting Americans to work and less on putting Mexicans to work?

With more and more Mexicans pouring over the border how long will it be before Mexicans are doing the work Americans CAN do? How many more jobs will there be that Americans "won't do"? How long will it be before Americans have no work that they can do at all?

Several years later, the immigrants and their families could become U.S. citizens.

Very ambiguous reporting. Will these immigrants have to wait in the quota line like everybody else? Will there be an increase in quotas?

This report doesn't define those important details.

"Our proposal is earmarked for jobs that Americans won't do, and there are clearly jobs that Americans will not do," says McCain.
"There is no doubt that Mexicans, filled with dignity, willingness and ability to work are doing jobs that not even blacks want to do there in the United States," President Fox said.
I'd love to see the list of jobs Americans won't do. I'd also like to know who was doing those jobs prior to the Feds turning a blind eye to this swarming of cheap, illegal Mexican labor.

McCain's new immigration reform bill would allow qualifying illegal immigrants to receive worker-visas after they pay a $2,000 fine.

What happens to the illegal aliens who do not qualify?

"This has widespread support, it has broad bi-partisan support," the Senator says.

It doesn't have this broad's support.

"What does it tell the rest of the world? What does it tell the people who are trying to come here legally," asks former Arizona State Senator Randy Graf.

It tells them the same thing that Mexico and the Feds have been telling the rest us for decades, FU.

How is a poor illegal alien going to come up with $2,000 to pay the fine? This sounds ridiculous, most illegal aliens who sneak into this country seem to have just the clothes they are wearing. What can McCain be thinking, that every illegal alien/guestworker has an extra $2,000. Or is the plan that the taxpayers subsidize the $2,000 per illegal?

I used to think McCain was remarkable to have survived POW in Vietnam, but lately he seems to have deviated from my prior conception of him.

After CFR that McCain pushed on the United States citizens enabling money from sources like George Soros and other ‘foreign entities’ and anti-American private organizations to further erode the abused campaign laws in this country, and one that President Bush should have vetoed, I wouldn’t trust anything John McCain puts his short sighted hand to. All Americans need to carefully dissect a McCain bill, whatever that puffed up senator does is not in America’s best interest – we have seen what he can and does do and it isn’t a pretty picture. CFR should be rescinded, made null and void – never forget who wrote it and why.

McCain should resign. He is useless to Arizona.

We have all seen the pictures of the destruction of the Arizona desert caused by the constant invasion of illegal aliens. He hasn't said ONE WORD or done ONE THING to change it, and now he comes up with a harebrained idea to reward the invaders even further.

We don't need MORE laws, we want the existing ones to be enforced. Is anyone in Washington listening??

McCain's not only a Rino, he's a stupid Rino to boot.

Like these law breakers are going to line up to pay $2000 to do what they are now doing with impunity, with very little to worry about. In fact, I'll bet most of them wouldn't even pay $200 even if they had it to spare.

I don't support this plan no matter what amount of money or any other factor. They came here and broke our laws and defied our sovereignty, so now they should be rounded up and deported.

Just let us worry about the "jobs Americans won't do". We'll handle it McLame, we can handle those jobs just fine.

Push for creepy McCain for president has already started. There is an A&E film coming out based on his book. I bet not a word about how he treated his first wife.
