The preview on their website looked kinda intriguing but also like something to watch just to laugh at.

from the promos, it look like they're doing a CG version of a book published in the 80s, hypothetical (ie: sci-fi) exobiology in the form of a survey report of an alien ecosystem.

the book was not without merit, as fruits of a fairly rigorous mental exercise.

What would life be like when we discover a Earth like planet..

For one thing, I believe the life forms would look like a DU convention, only not as weird.
