...The House members see little or no prospect for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Sen. John McCain of Arizona or Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney...
Let us pray they are right.
No Rinos need apply.

No, but I can picture CWII starting on her watch.

The Clinton-vs.-Allen forecast by the leading House members duplicates the National Journal's poll of insiders from both parties.
I'm in Allen's corner already.

George Allen all the way. George is a lucky name! My 70% prediction is a health problem will take Hillary out of the 2008 race.

Of course Hillary! will be a lock for the RAT nomination in '08. No matter which way I view this, she still does not scare me in the least. If this were '92 or '96, maybe that would be different. But the landscape has changed significantly and will cotinue to change by the time November of '08 comes around.
This Republican wants Hillary! for the '08 RAT ticket!

I will enthusiastically pull the lever for Allen, but stay home if McLame or Guliani get the nom. I have a feeling some "moderate" will run third party and siphon votes away from the GOP, thereby ushering Hitlery into office. The little bolsheviks like to b*tch about Nader, but he is nothing compared to Perot in that sense.

Members of the inner circle of high-ranking House Republicans privately agree that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York is an absolute lock for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination and will not be easy to defeat in the general election.
Republicans are cowards.

Bring on Hillary.
I'd rather face her than Mark Warner or Bill Richardson.

Right. Bring her on, please! The polarizing effect is invaluable.

The consensus among them is that Allen is a better candidate than Frist and will have the advantage over him in GOP primaries. George Allen is a Cowboy to Frist's milquetoast manner - no comparison! I'd put an 'Allen in 2008' bumper sticker on my vehicle today.

...but stay home if McLame or Guliani get the nom. There's always the option of voting for a third choice. Even if you don't like any of the third parties listed, you can still write someone in. It would send a more effective message than staying home.

"Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York is an absolute lock for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination and will not be easy to defeat in the general election."If Hillary makes the GOP turn scared, they are not very proud to run on their record.
