Video from KVOA Tucson. Puts some pictures to the BP story.
Note: High B/W, dont know if it works on dialup
Are congress is to damned civilized.
Gutless wonders protecting their political behinds. Additional:

This situation is intolerable. We need to speak out LOUDLY and put more pressure on all "officials." Sadly, it's not just congress that is too "civilized." We suffer from that ourselves...
So, we have 3 separate entities reporting this:
1. Ben Anderson, retired Army colonel who is a Cochise County resident who has many contacts inside the Border Patrol reported this story last week on his website The Anderson Report.
2. Jerry Seper of The Washington Times who was embedded with the Minuteman Project during April and who is possibly the best reporter in the nation on illegal immigration topics reported that he'd spoken to a dozen Border Patrol agents who say that they had been given the order to keep numbers down.
3. T.J. Bonner, President of the National Border Patrol Council and 27-year Border Patrol agent has spoken to Border Patrol agents in Arizona who say that they were given the order to depress apprehension numbers.
My question is why is the rest of the media keeping this quiet. There was NO report in the Arizona Republic or the Arizona Daily Star this morning on this issue. Only KVOA Channel 4 in Tucson reported it last night. KOLD 13 had scheduled Randy Graf to appear on their newscast last night on this issue, but then they never reported it.
It is unbelievable. Kolbe shows up on TV yelling at the Border Patrol and telling them that he will cut their funding and take Congressional action that will "sting" them if they dont "stand down" at their permanent checkpoints - and now we find that Border Patrol supervisors are telling agents to "stand down" their enforcement in Cochise County. How come no one has made the connection between these two things? If Kolbe can threaten the Border Patrol and cause them to change their operations for political reasons - and admit it on TV - then why are we to believe that he hasn't done this before and that he isn't doing it now to sabotage the Minuteman Project's effectiveness?
good report (great quality video) but simply a news report of the allegation with some testimony that crossings have increased. No real hard 'evidence' that the intentional 'stand down' order was given.
Q1. Just checked the properties of the vid whithin Windoze media player. Then copied the Location.
Who oversees congressmen. We do. I dont think we have enough friends in DOJ to do a RICO sting on Kolbe.
Colmes had one of them on his radio show a few weeks ago, same nonsense, all he achieved was to show how pitifully ignorant he was of the world outside NYC.
At least Hannity actually went down there.
Not much hope of the border patrol agents getting whistleblower protection from congress who is on the side of the illegals.
Shortly after 9/11 there were a couple of "former" border patrol agents who lost their jobs for saying there wasn't enough protection. They made the rounds of all the talk shows for awhile.
It doesn't work here. I click on the KVOA video player and it comes up with some javascript thing in which I can't do anything but play the movie or add others to the playlist. How'd you get it to come up in just plain windows media player?
