I just had a very good chat with California Patriot in FR Mail, and I can assure you he/she is not a Troll. Cali Patriot simply didn't realize that the "DOSE" was an Oasis form the hundreds of threads here on FR at any given time where debate and criticism is welcomed.

If I wasn't aware of the ground rules here on the "Dose" and wanted to vent my concerns or criticisms somewhere on FR and happened to stumble onto this thread to post them, I would feel like I was under attack as well. He/she assured me that it won't happen again here on this thread. He/she gets a full pardon from me, and all of you know how mean I am :-)

While I am back and forth on the dose, you will never
guess where I am digging. I am on a Brit. genealogy
site and going through posts on Strood, up the road
from you.

Not that far away North Kent whereas I am in the South East but less than 35 mins in the car.

I have several friends in the Stroud area although I have not actually seen them in the flesh for a few years though we still exchange Christmas cards.

No, it is digital cable...we had a special box and all channels after 70 were digital....we had it for several years and never watched it...so we got rid of it and returned to the basic cable...we have 70 channels with this, but all I need is Fox, C-span and a few others...
