Let's hope that this crescendo by the Democrats leads to a stunning defeat of the Democrats.

Powerful article, JohnHuang2. Didn't Bolton also do the heavy lifting regarding the 'Zionism is Racism' review? You;d think some on the left would be quite thankful for Bolton's successful efforts.

If Bolton gets in I'm petitioning C-SPAN to begin covering UN debates.

Hope John Bolton wears a cowboy hat when he takes his seat in the UN.

What was all the noise we heard this morning that my idiot Senator, Barbara Boxer, was putting a "hold" on the nomination. Did anything come of that? Is it a legitimate move, or is she just hallucinating?
Anybody know?
Thanks
To: JohnHuang2
Democrats voted to confirm Bolton four other times, but now they want you to think he's some intelligence-analyst-snuffing humanoid mutation with webbed hands and feet, straight out of some lagoon.Yep. Funny how the MSM doesn't mention that much, if at all.
Good job as always....

How can Boxer do that?
Thought it was just for Judicial nominees from a Senator's home State....

There was an earlier thread (I don't know how to link it) called "Senate Democrats move to block Bolton UN Nomination (Barbara Boxer blocking Bolton)it quoted a spokeswoman for her as saying she was "putting a hold on the nomination". In the thread no one was able to actually determine what this meant. I notice Drudge took his reference which said Barbara Boxer had "put a hold" on the Bolton nomination.
Just wondered if there was anything to it.
Thanks!
To: JohnHuang2
If Bolton is everything the dems say he is, ie an ill-mannered, sniveling, abusive, foot stamping discipline problem it sounds to me like he fits the required UN position description so he oughta be their man. But if he's just plain talented good help and thinks it's worth a try he should get a crack at it anyway. Superman himself could not single-handedly clean up the UN---at the least the S-man would need someone to hold open the trash can. The Starwars bar scene playing at the UN is so full of buttdragging lipdrippers that a regular guy is going to feel out of place anyway.

Which prompted Matthews' grief-stricken guest, Chris Matthews, to say: "We were told, if we fought in Iraq, we wouldn't fight here. It looks like we're fighting on both fronts." Did Matthews really say that? If so, thats pathetic.
