Raising money FOR and being the HEAD OF a party are two significantly different positions, but both need to be taken out and shot.
I don't know the particulars of this specific case, but I think it's worth pointing out that one can be convicted of 'taking pornographic photos of children' simply by taking innocent nude pictures of your own child. Want to take a pic of your child playing in the tub? Want to take a pic of your child running nude in your backyard? You risk prison for taking pornographic photos of children.
This is sad but true.
